Welcome to "MeetMeR" reservationless conferencing - your personal meeting space.

Use MeetMe to hold a simple Phoneconference. The service is very simple to use and includes free on-line and off-line help. You can request a Conference Coordinator at any time while in your meeting or call the Helpdesk at any other time. This guide covers use of MeetMe and contact information for further help and advice.

How to hold a telephone conference
Agree a start time with the participants and advise them of the MeetMe telephone number and Participant Pass-code.

At the time of the Conference:

  • Dial the MeetMe Telephone number (dial in standard or dial in toll free numbers)
  • Enter the Chairperson or Participant Pass-code followed by #
  • Record your name and accept the recording
  • Wait for the Conference to start
  • During the call you may use the telephone keypad to control the Conference
Note: The participants will all be played music until you enter the Chairperson Pass-code.

    System Requirements
To access and control MeetMe you will just need a standard touch tone telephone.(fixed line or mobile) Where groups of people intend to use one phone, we recommend that a specialist speakerphone be used to maintain the high audio quality.
    Security
Remember ˇV the security to your meeting space is the Chairpersonˇ¦s Pass-code. This is the key to your room. If this becomes compromised so does your room. In this event, contact 2M Conferencing customer service and ask for your Pass-codes to be changed. We strongly recommend that you treat the Chairpersonˇ¦s Pass code as a security code and do not disclose it to anyone.

    How to Control a Conference
The conference is easily controlled using a telephone keypad. Everyone has basic control over their own line while you, as the Chairperson, have an extended set of features.

Everyone on the call can use the following basic features:
*0 Signals the Operator for Assistance
Operators are available for general help and advice at no extra charge.
    *4 Automatic Volume Equalization
Adjust the volume of your line in the Conference.

In addition to the basic functions, you, as the Chairperson have access to:
    #1 Conference Roll Call
Plays back all name recordings to the Conference for security or awareness.
    #2 Conference Participant Count
Tells you the total number of attendees in the Conference.
    *2 Stop Audio Message

    #9 Enable / Disable Chair Hang-up
Allows the Chairperson to set the conference to either end when the Chairperson hangs-up (Enable) or to continue when the Chairperson leaves (Disable). The change will be for the current conference only and will be amended on a per occasion basis. The default setting is Disable.
    ## End Conference
Ends the Conference and ejects everyone from the meeting.
Tip: Be sure to unlock a Conference before requesting assistance, as you will be unable to rejoin a locked Conference.
